The Royal Armouries

The Royal Armouries is Britain’s national museum writing a book report of arms and armour. At the Leeds Museum there are over 8,500 objects on display in five galleries: War; Tournament; Oriental; Self Defence and Hunting. The Royal Armouries Museum is located at Clarence Dock, only a short distance from the centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire.

HBSA Northern meet in the Royal Armouries, Leeds, and we remain ever grateful for their hospitality.

Belgische Vereniging Van Wapenverzamelaars (BVVW).

A three-person delegation from the Belgian firearm collectors association (BVVW) visited the Royal Armouries Leeds on Tuesday 16 August.  After a comprehensive study visit to the Royal Armouries reserve collection and National Firearms Centre (NFC), BVVW President Frank Rodyns free dissertation samples signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HBSA Northern Group Chairman, Stuart Taylor.  The bilateral agreement formalises an arrangement in which British and Belgian collectors will strengthen academic ties and share research information.

Mr. Rodyns was keen to thank HBSA, Royal Armouries and NFC staff for making the visit possible.
